It’s a dream, a dream of one and all,
To own a house, or rather a home!
Chasing this dream, we set loose,
Met this builder, who looked good!
Many promises made by their marketing team,
Many dates told to us,
All these dates are just history, all promises fake
It is getting on to our nerves, can no longer take (it).
They call it the Ramprastha City, Gurgaon,
a city to be, still barren lands.
The main concern is this only,
When will barren lands start looking like a developing strand?
Sample house is a story in its own,
People waiting to see it even after 2 years of booking,
Looks like dreams shattered, hopes belied,
Now some talks ongoing to cancel some bookings.
The bankers say “NO”.
They need some documents to say “YES”
Every time we try and raise our concern,
It is like, “it will happen, just give us some time”
Just one bank has started, others to follow suite,
But will they? the question still holds,
Why is the builder so laid-back, so casual in its approach?
And can’t give us the true picture and “walk the talk”!!
They are set to complete three projects.
Just one started, rest two in an unknown state.
The started one too in its nascent stage,
It is a point of concern, we are worried,
Many buyers have come forward,
We call ourselves “Ramprastha-Gurgaon @ Google Groups”
Gaining strength day by day,
Already 150 families strong, and geared up to play!
We plan to move the authorities, to get the answers,
Answers to questions still unanswered.
We want some basic info, to feel good about our decision.
To be confident about the project and not get swayed due to all these delays!
“By when will you start construction and by when will you hand it over”
“By when will the bankers give their consent, by when will we see some progress”
“Are the rumors surrounding the builder and Deutsche bank correct”
“How will the delay already introduced be handled?”
And many more….
We have an agenda, we have the voice,
We need some ears that are not deaf.
Real buyers, come forward,
Join us and make us strong.
~ On behalf of all the worried buyers

MNS- My Nation's Shame!!
Raj or Bala, it doesn't matter.
One swine and the other holding a 'mala'.. a character!!
They fail to understand that there's a limit,
Its not very long before people of "INDIA" say.. "IT IS IT".
A handful of insects let loose,
they think that its their land, they can rule!
Making a mockery of the system, they cry foul
oozing out poison, much like beasts on the prowl.
Gosh, the government is so helpless,
I wish it was a bi-party democracy, these souls would have got rest.
The business capital of India, they want to dis-integrate,
the city that never sleeps, they want it to hibernate.
TADA, POTA, everything is so very less for these criminals,
shoot at sight, this should be the only thing for these anti-constitution buggers!!
Are they Indians, I guess not.
Just wearing saffron doesn't make one a holy soul.
They deserve nothing but hatred,
Everyone knows, this is just a game...
a game for mere publicity,
surprisingly supported by hundreds of illiterate and lame.
Sachin, Amir, SRK, Ambani, are the nation's enemies, they think,
All they need is a magician's mirror which reveals the truth within.
No one else, but they pose a threat to us,
Everyone is at risk, all because of this curse.
India is losing face on a bigger stage,
tries to fight enemies on foreign land, surrounded by a siege.
They both are powerful, yes, they are.
Mind you, they can start a civil war, if they are what they are.
They play on people's emotions,
thrive on the helplessness of the system,
nothing but malicious Trojans,
I wish there was an anti-virus system.
Heal them, cure them, its the need of the hour.
just 1411 tigers left, bigger risk, 2 termites still alive.
Do away with them, then save the tigers,
its high time!!
I am an Indian, and so is every maharashtrian,
even geographically, India comes first.
Arise, awake, don't be dumb followers,
use your brain to identify the criss-crossers.
At last, I shall say,
BE AN INDIAN AND ALWAYS STAY
JAI HIND!!

Feb-worry!!
It is Feb, yet again...
Ppl so anxious, yet again...
Whats in store, no one knows...
I am the best, everyone vows...
Ohh pls, no deaf ear this time...
Not again!!!
The brain runs like a deer,
but from the inside, it is surrounded by fear.
"He" also has his own limitations,
only few lollipops are sanctioned from his superiors!
No one shall be contented, he knows..
for the limited options that he has..
he tries his best to keep me happy...
For this, should I be happy????
The process seems to have started...
the most awaited and the most interesting part of the year...
ppl stand in groups and speculate
everyone has a set of stats, which he/she starts to narrate
This time is intriguing, this time is important..
o'course, only for those who consider it to be...
But !!!
B.U.T !!!
but....
"sochna kya, jo bhi hoga dekha jaayega!!!"

whoa goa!!
Under the office pressure, i decided to fly west
west, still in the indian sub-continent, to a place they call blessed.
A place with positive vibes all around,
which'll just sweep you off your feet when you try to make the first ground!!
sun, sand and beaches are the flavors of the place,
the place, patronized mostly by ppl wanting a get-away!!
water water everywhere, not a drop to drink,
gals and gals everywhere, you dare not think.......
a place which i love for obvious reasons (not so obvious though)
day and night i think of moments, the moments of my life.
a place so serene, so calm (because of the weather)
in the water, both your legs and arms..
sit on the beach, just relax,
turn your head towards the sky, get out of the lax.
4 days, they said are too much..
4 days, they vanished like perfume in an open jug.
someday I will go again
I will go again for sure.
Ppl who matter just say that "I want it more"

half a year.. strange/different/sad/low/ok/fine/part of life/ecstatic/happy
Here I am... let free from a cage
Here I am... back to life again.
There I was... a bait for the hostile clients
There I was... a kid with beasts on the prowl,
There I was... popularly the RRC geek
There I was... even tougher to match up the speed.
There I was... keen to make a mark
There I was... afraid of not losing out in the dark,
There I was... slowly making an impact
There I was... now considered to be a 'one man gang'.
There I was... now known by one and all,
There I was... eagerly waiting to return where I had left all.
Now, Here I am... unaware of the impact of my impact in alien land,
Only time will tell, if I will be forced to leave this land?
So far so good, I am happy as I am back,
Yes.. I am back.. I am back.. I am back..

winter of 2k8
Aaaaaaaah. It starts at around 12 in the night, i can call it 24th dec 2008 or even 25th dec 2008.
These guys are really crazy, ya the other 5 who were supposed to go to nainital along. Since i was already scheduled to get late :), they all met after office and drank like anything before even the trip starts.
The cab driver doesn't know the way to my house, and none of them in senses, wow.
The only one in some "hosh", chodar, calls me up and i guide them to my place on phone. Finally they make it to my place.
I reach the cab and all of us just yell on the road at midnight, though gondy and murgi shouting at seeing hot gals in the cars passing by :)
Now, all of us board the CAB, me and gondy sitting at the back. Everyone was already full ( with booze o'course), i thot, well i should not miss the fun.
We had the whole stock for 3 days in the car, i started with it, and started with it, and started with it, Dint want to stop, ha ha :). Actually i did stop after a while.
Fog, phew, even driver couldn't see as far as 5m, leave us drunk bodies alone.
then we stopped at a "chai-waala" to help ourselves in the cold night. The chai was amazing and after a 10 minute stoppage, moved on.
Who the hell knew that what lies ahead. We reached a place, dunno where. There were cars and trucks all around. When asked, we came to know that it is a 12-15 km long traffic jam. First thought, "saala itna bada jam ho hi nhi sakta". reality, it was messier.
Then again after sometime the need for chai was felt and we tried another chai-wala, had a good photo session (others on the road were really fascinated to see us enjoying the traffic jam). It was around 1 am in the night. Then the clocked ticked past 2,3,4,5,6, etc etc, we still there.
It was really terrible to sit idle in the cab for so long with murgi fast asleep (due to whatever reasons). Every1 wanted to sleep and had a small nap sometime in the night itself, but i couldn't.
What could have been more horrible? Even our driven started getting bored and instead of trying to get out of the jam , he also slept. When it started paining down there by just sitting in the car, me, chodar and pahwa decided to take it on. Went quite far walking to see the real cause of traffic jam but there was nothing of that sort, just some idiots standing in wrong lanes.
Finally around 10-30 in the morning we succeeded in getting out of the place. After driving for sometime, we had a stop for breakfast at a dhaba, had "aaloo ke paranthe" with curd and chai.
btw, we had sutta breaks at our will :0
Then taking another couple of stoppages, we reached the hills. Now it started getting chilly. But Mr Thakki with his "wonderful" stories that he saw on discovery channel and some knowledge that he gained by browsing the net, entertained us alot. Meanwhile, chodar was still concentrating hard on the road instead of the hills coz he thought that admiring the nature will make him feel dizzy.
We reached Nainital finally, now the search for the hotel starts. Me and chodar go to see and finalize the things and finally we are divided into 2 groups 3-3 each and head towards our rooms. Agenda was to leave ASAP so as to enjoy the "maal (or mall, whatever) road". We got fresh and courtesy pahwa, within 30 minutes, had already clicked more that 100 photos, big photography buff he is.
Saw a mosque on the way to mall road and then we went to a church, yes it was Christmas. All of us prayed and asked god for what all we need the most, every1 must have asked for something interesting i know :)
Now, every1 feeling hungry, all find the best place out there, embassy restaurant. Food was really gr8. It was realllly cold out there, and every1 now wanted to rush back to the hotel. Gondy and me, though wanted to get there early so that we can start drinking asap.
Now, the time has come, time to party. To start with, thakki and murgi were overly enthu ki "we will sit in the lobby and drink", but when tried, almost froze.
We sat in the room in the quilts and started, yes, every1 started enjoying and chodar started with his "romaaantic" songs. These ppl also challenged me and the challenge was that " i will get drunk and tell them everything, haha, probably they forgot me, sweety huun bhai). 2 "khambe" finished within 1 hour, wow, we have gr8 capacity. But in the end, all agreed, sweety is invincible when it comes to this :) and they couldn't get the things out.
Then a round of arm-wrestling, pahwa was enthu to try it on me, i being the easiest competitor, he thought.
Ha ha, he lost twice, and still said, "ab aa saale".
They still asked me somethings that i answered, interesting topic for all and the discussion continues for another 30 minutes or so.
Then thakki slept and so did pahwa and murgi. Chodar, me and gondy went to the other room. Chodar, afraid of the quantity that he had gulped, slept quietly and me and gondy started with some "thass", with gondy telling about his love and the whole story behind it. After sometime, we all slept, with a "mission" to wake up early in the morning, so that we can go trekking.
Yes, we managed to wake up early, thakki woke up with a hangover. Nonetheless, we all get ready to trek. We started and in less than 10 minutes, chodar was exhausted and wanted to rest. We decided to take a short-cut and took the stairs, the stairs were like hell, so steep that just 20-25 stairs broke all of us, and chodar, who had to rest after every 5 steps :)
walking and walking, it was really steep, china peak trek is TOUGHER than triund trek, believe me guys. After around 3/3.5 hours we reached somewhat close to the peak. There was a care-taker who promised us a chai each and 4 omlettes, that is all was there to eat. It was chilling out there and we had nothing to eat, no cigarette left either.
Me and chodar set out to see the actual peak to see if there is something available to eat. We could not se anything out there, was it fog or clouds, we don't know. Just white smoke all around, we could just see ourselves, thats it.Disappointed (that there is nothing to eat)and esctatic( for the amazing view of nature, clouds in our hands) we return back to have our chai. Then, the noble thought struck thakki, a really heroic idea it seemed. He suggested that we all will remove our shirts on the peak and then have some snaps. Gondy and pahwa thought that "thakki saala satak gaya hai" but me chodar and murgi thouth it to be interesting and decided to go for it.
We reached the top and looked at each other, just to confirm that "are we ready for it?", Ya, a nod from every1, all and 4 of us are half nude, chodar was a bit more though :)
After some "mast" photos, we dressed up again and then started admiring the beauty of nature. pata nhi kaise we spent around 2 hours there when it was so cold. Then we started with the downhill part of the trek, thought that it will be easy, haah, just thought.
All through the trekk, gondy played some good english music and thakki, found it tough to comprehend :) gondy would explain the whole song to him. But every now and then, pahwa would jump and come up with his jugni.
Pahwa, i think he featued in around 75% of the pics that we took, still was enthu to take more, of his shadow, of crow's shadow, in front of chief justice's home and what not. Finally it got really cold and we decided to buy some more booze. Then we had a hot and spicy soup at "sher-e-punjab" restaurant. Then dinner time, and this time we decide to go to moti-mahal. Food was good, but gondy was uncomfortable and didn't have anything to eat :)
Then all of us discovered a "friendship band" maker, who would make a band with a name written on it with wool, every1 got excited, only i know why :(
Thakki and pahwa decide to get candy floss for all of us, trick was that he who finishes last shall have first peg as "bottoms up" and that too "neat". It was thakki's trick to pull some1 else also as he had already lost a bet and was as it is supposed to do it, chodar lost the bet.
After we returned to the room, chodar started with his songs, this time better ones, and complete versions. After completing the drinks, pahwa wanted to try the flaming shot. Who else will teach, yours truly, sweety. I had one to show pahwa how to do it, and he follows the same steps, but did he enjoy it, ask him.
Hats off to chodar, great songs, mazza hi aa gaya tha...but every now and then, murgi would wake up and start with a para of the song which we had already sung and then chodar would say, "saalon, so jao, subah jaldi uthna hai".
That day, completely exhausted, all decided to sleep, and i took one last peg and went to bed. Early morning around 8-30, there's a voice saying " uth jao, saade aath ho gye, main ja raha hun". none of us bothered to wake up, and when we did, discovered that pahwa had gone for boating early morning.
Breakfast and all, and we head to delhi, pahwa now does a chodar. Says "ulteeee aa rhi hai". one could see the satisfaction on chodar's face, " gosh, main akela nhi huun". some songs, etc and then thakki pahwa and chodar sleep. Me and murgi sitting at the back seat, discover an "interesting" innova coming from behind :)
Luckily that innova also stopped at the same place where we had stopped for lunch, it was quite an expirience.
There were swings in the restaurant, thakki and me try see-saw. Certainlt thakki was destined to win, but still we tried. The gaurd of the restraunt came and scolded thakki, ha ha, says, this is meant for kids.
Then after some rest and after every1 had adressed to all the important calls (nature and stomach), we start again. Gondy and murgi ruled this time when it came to playing songs. In no time, we reached noida.
Looking back, if i refer anything about nostalgia, it would be just a cliche. These ppl really rock, and trip with all of us along, had to be SUPER. The trip was just one of its kind. CANNOT write everything, this one being a public portal. But yes, had a rocking time.
Again, time for introduction--
chodar a.k.a chirag
thakki a.k.a jatin
gondy a.k.a govind
pahwa a.k.a sourabh
murgi a.k.a rakesh
and
sweety, me
Hope u enjoyed!!
Comments are welcome, just wanna see "who all have so much patience to read through this :)"

The good / The Bad / The Ugly
This one being my first blog is a special one, not only because it is 'Da Begining' but also because the context is very unlike the image i have carried all through my life.
Yes indeed this one has nothing to do with pranks but something about my college life.
The long wait was gladfully over and we were in college. It dates back to the days when I used to go to school in the school bus and suddenly finding myself seated in route number 764. Me and some of my close buddies were by-default together in the bus, no matter what time of the day we left. Someday the mood of the group would be esctatic and someday it would be low. Low , not because of some personal issues but....
This 'but' could have been anything, be it some exam pressure or maybe the load of those burdensome assignments given by the so 'undertstanding' teachers.
The hardwork doesn't mean that we attended all our letures or did something out of the book, but something to do with the mental saturation.
My group, which i can dare say was the best in the whole college is still as strong as a wall, as close as two sides of a coin. The 'all famous' group had 7 pillars each with a distinctive nature but yet such to suite the group perfectly. We were a root cause of envy of many others, who considered us to be bit secretive about our groups pranks and everything. But i think that this is where the true essence of unity came. Come what may, be it Xtreme happiness or immence pressure , we needed no one apart from ourselves.
It all started with second semester when I came to NSIT . The big notion that loomed large in my mind was that the college life in NSIT is not as xciting as in DCE and the students are just 'ghissoos'. But fortunately enough i happened to meet this group of 4 guys from our class who just didn't fit in any of my apprehensions. They were very funloving and , i don't know why and how but from the very first day I could relate myself with them. We had 2 more of us from DCE coming to NSIT. Slowly the frequencies started to match to an extent that we didn't bother about anything else when we were together. This was how the group came together.
Second, Third and fourth semesters were entirely dedicated to cricket. Just can't find a single day when we didn't play cricket. The fifth and sixth semesters were somewhat bit different coz we became little serious for projects and studies and in the process completed six- seven projects under various guides, but all of them together. Eventhough we all became somewhat 'project diggers' still the 'masti' times were anyways not very far off. We could somehow find ample time for 'Thass' in the admin block or watching movies or partying in the hostel or for everything else.....
The annual fest was really awaited and every year it left some story of its kind. Every night during the fests was so very same, didn't know whats happening but all that was happening was FUN. I don't think i should write why every other night was so very same. The biggest mystery was the eye of one of us who managed to get cockeyed without breaking his specs and still not knowing how he got hit. We left him safely in the hostel room to sleep and when he came to our room in the morning......
The first three years were a cocktail of masti and masti and masti.. i mean masti in all proportions.
Then came the much awaited fourth year, the time for which every NSITian had waited, the time to get placed. It started on 16th Aug'05, the day TCS came to our college for campus placements. Everyone had put in his / her best to get the day1 job. Almost whole college peeped through the audi for the presentation and then the written tests. The competition was BIG and 5 of us made it through the written tests. Three rounds of interview and then the results, me and one more from us made it to TCS, but very shockingly one of us was rejected after the three rounds of interview, probably the only such poerson in whole college. So the days eveolved and slowly all of us started finding jobs. But here was what the true test of our friendship came. The whole college boasted about small but united groups who were just like alter-egos , but placement days revealed it all. Others who called themselves friends started back-biting and what not. Soon the whole college , or i must say the whole batch of fourth year was splitted. BUT not us...
Yes , probably the only one of its kind, our group had grown stronger. The placement times were really tough for some of us who got placed after many companies had gone. Still we all were together and none of us went home till each one of us was placed. We had our bags with us in the hostel and stayed there till the last of us got placed. The company, Keane, came as a bliss to us as now whole group had jobs. I can still remember the moment, me along with two others were in the hostel ragging the juniors when we got a phone call saying the results are out and our buddy is through. If measured in decibels , the noise that we made at that point of time in the hostel would have exceeded the sound of landing of a plane.
Truly the placement days were BAD in a sense that we saw some of us in real pressure. We cried together, drank together but the key word was 'together'. Seeing the unity in our group, many , yes many tried to intrude in our group just for placement period. Obviously we didn't include them in our group but we gave numerous aliased written tests for others. The times came and went but what stayed was the group.
Having written all this, i think i shall introduce my group to all of you.

The college days are over but the group remains , surpassing all the busy times in the office. This is Friendship at its best.
